Racing Post BetFinder

If you’ve used the new Racing Post-powered horseracing section of a BGT Terminal recently, you’ll have seen the Bet Filter available on the top screen (see screenshot on the right). It enables the customer to quickly narrow down the day’s runners to a shortlist based on a number of filters and has proved extremely popular since launch.

The raw data that powers this popular tool is now available to operators looking to build their own BetFinder type product. Racing Post supply the feed of filter criteria for each horse leaving the operator to design the user interface and tightly integrate it into their product to give the best possible user experience.

Filters supplied in the Racing Post BetFinder feed include:

– Horse: won, placed or beaten fav last time out; previous distance winner; previous course winner; previous going winner.

– Race: Any number of runners; less than 8 runners; 8 or more runners.

– Trainer: big name; hot trainer; good course record.

– Jockey: big name; hot jockey; good course record.

– Tipsters: expert tips; NAP; top RPR.
